Great dining, poor lodging
We went to Eureka Springs this weekend and had made a reservation at Rogue's Manor for both dinner and lodging (we rented the "Penthouse" for $150.) To make it short we loved the restaurant but our room was appalling. Dingy, no closet (!) old linens that appeared not so fresh...a curtain served as the bathroom door. No telephone. And a cold walk up a very steep exterior staircase. So, I highly recommend the very nice restaurant...good menu, nice atmosphere and service (order the Montscatet appetizer..we also liked the curried chowder, and the lobster was good) but it was hard to believe the same people operated the awful rooms upstairs. We'll definitely go back to the restaurant, but will certainly never stay there again. [29 Nov 2003 15:21:43]

The
Rogues Manor would be a five star in all areas with my husband and I. The food, service and ambiance are top of the line. It's hard to find a restaurant that is this consistent even in bigger cities. [15 Jun 2004 19:32:58]
