My husband and I dined at Gaskins Cabin for a romantic dinner on a get-away weekend. Very cozy place, wonderful atmosphere and the menu is outstanding.
The one glaring problem I see is that they allow small children to dine in what should be an adults only restaurant -- it is a romantic secluded cabin. Small children cried and whined and ran around the dining room while their oblivous parents ignored the noise. Suppose it's more of a parental problem than one of the restaurant, but it would be nice to see the restaurant exclude small children (if legal). [11 Nov 2002 16:45:35]

This was our first time at Gaskins Cabins Steakhouse and we loved it. The food was great!! We were seated quickly and made to feel like we were visiting old friends and not just another customer in off the street. The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. The new owners are wonderful!! Will be making frequent visits to this steak house!! [16 Jun 2008 14:07:17]
