Great Southern Comfort Food
I have been searching for a restaurant like this one since I moved to Montgomery in May of this year. I had almost given up hope of finding a true home style, family owned neighborhood restaurant with terrific food and service. Today I found the main public library and again asked for recommendations on such a place. The young man at the library told me about the Capital Grill and how to find it. As it turns out, it is not far from my new home. Finding them was a thrill. They met all of my expectations and more. The waitresses have 'character' and charm, the service is a little slow, but well worth the wait. It is slow because the place was literally packed with a line outside the restaurant. I should keep my find a secret ... they don't need any more customers. [17 Jul 2004 16:23:24]
