First-Timer to Barnhills My experience was a bit rocky at first. We were four of us, two being visibly walking-impaired octogenarians. It wasn't clear whether we should wait for seating or just go stake a claim. Personally I was a bit confused and embarrassed. A hostess should have noticed our predicament. However, my elders grabbed a table and sat down.
Once seated, a waitress came right to us, removed an unattended glass of drink, and looked over our choices for buffet. Drinks were ordered and we went foraging. The rest of the meal went without incident and help was always near even before we needed it. Just didn't understand what we were supposed to do at first, and the help didn't respond to our needs. Good southern cooking. Excellent fish fry, chicken and side dishes. Leafy salads were a bit tired.
