Pretty good for a truck stop It was late, I was hungry, and there it was, gleaming like a beacon from the top of the overpass. The Iron Skillet, said the bright, garish sign. I usually avoid truck stop diners due to the fact that I lack the intestinal fortitude that the gods of the highway have graced over the road drivers with, but, I stopped anyway. What a pleasant suprise! It was clean, the service was good and the food was delightful (not to mention the gargantuan portions served). I ate my fill, and took enough with me in a doggie bag to eat my fill twice more. I am still leary of truck stop diners, but not the Iron Skillet. There, I know my stomach, and tastebuds, will be well taken care of.
