After reading outstanding reviews about Sweet Plantains, I decided I had to try it. The reviews were right. The food was spectacular! I came on 3 occasions and each time I ordered a different plate. It was like an explosion of flavor in every bite.On my first visit, I had the curried West Indian shrimp. The sauce was fantastic - wasn't too spicy for my sensitive taste buds, lol. Also, it came with Basmati rice which I don't usually care for. However this had a real dessert taste to it and it went well with the curry. Sweet Plantains is a sweet place to visit. It's in Coral Bay about a 25 minute drive from Cruz Bay, but worth it.
