Good! [05 Dec 2002 10:00:17] Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: --Anonymous -
Still the nicest Italian in town If I got the story right, the restaurant opened in the 80's by an Italian father and his two sons. As I were a student in Uppsala in the early 90's, the father ran the lunch hours, and the sons the evening dine hall. Today, the father is retired, and T C is only open for dinners.
The atmosphere is a bit bohemic/cosy - far from stylish trendy. The Anita Ekland poster from La Dolce Vita says it all. The food is very good, although the options of second entrees are a bit limited (and some of them are a bit "Swedified"). The wine list is excellent, and for being in Sweden - decently priced! A glass Prosecco as aperatif is 35 SEK. The staff is professional (again, for being in Sweden), friendly but swift.
If you want a really nice, well prepared dinner, but not an exciting gastronimic experiment, this is the place to go. [27 Apr 2005 06:12:18] Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: --Andreas, Uppsala -
