Ooh la la!
It's expensive, but it's expensive in the way that good New Orleans restaurants are expensive: if you want your crawfish cooked just so, you're going to have to pay for it.

Crawfish soup was indeed "just so" -- thick, spicy, and reminiscent of alligator soup -- with the cheery touch of a whole crawfish floating on the surface. Companions' salads and tortellini disappeared fast, as did every basket of bread brought within our reach.

The live jazz was loud, even from the second balcony; however, this is the one restaurant I should have gone to twice.    [09 Jul 2003 21:37:11]
