Located in Table View, one of Cape Town's northern suburbs, Dale's Place is a cozy white-table cloth restaurant in an ordinarily casual beach area.
While there is a strong emphasis on game meats, more ordinary fare is also served. Dale's is an upmarket venue in food, decor, atmosphere and cost -- expect to pay at least R125 per person for starters and mains, excluding the wines.
Dale himself oversees the running of his place, as he has for 10 years, often personally stopping by the table.
