Fantastic value, great food. My wife (local) agrees. No fuss ambience, clean and neat. The TV in the corner is slightly annoying but many regulars obviously value it. [03 Jun 2003 23:24:51]

Restaurant has moved, but still excellent
Moved a few doors down into bigger premises. Still excellent though sometimes very busy. Home cooking style maintained. Friendly staff, good service, great food, reasonable prices. I love this place. [02 Dec 2005 01:56:00]

Amazing Find!
Was reading the reviews and decided to try this peranakan place to see what's the fuss about.
And Glad I did! I finally tasted peranakan food served as it should be. Ikan Assam Pedas = gravy thick, sweet, yet sour, with spice will pamper your tastebuds. Sotong hitam, beef rendang, ladies finger ikan bilis, and the homemade belachan tops everything off.
Next to the escalator on the 4th floor of beauty world, you won't miss it. Food takes a while to come, but the is well worth the wait. [04 Dec 2008 01:26:22]
