Bad Customer Service at Country Manna
Customer service was very bad. Upon entering, there was no one there to welcome us. And when there was one, she (Bee Guan) just took the menus and walked off without a word. We looked like a fool standing there! Then she turned and signalled us to the table from afar and we were still standing at the door. When taking orders, she showed no interest in taking. When being asked some questions, she just kept quiet. When we finished ordering, she didn't repeat our orders and we had to ask for it. And her reply was not very courteous and spoke in a manner that suggested that we owe her a living. I can't believe we had to put up with this and pay service charge !!!!! [14 Sep 2003 10:01:15]

Sun Plaza Country Manna
Bad review this time, the Christmas Menu was horrible with a pathetic range of choices only.. Steak which are ordered medium well came 'well well done' and the potatoes were barely cooked, guess they didn't even bother to thaw it. The manager was really rude and the ultimate came when I waited more then 20 mins and my change was not returned. [25 Dec 2003 11:41:34]

Poor Service at Serangoon Gardens
Had dinner at Serangoon Gardens restaurant last week. We were obviously one of the first guests of the evening as the staff were all sitting around doing nothing. One was asleep with his head down on a table.
Waiter took our order but could barely open his mouth. His shirt was filthy and covered in grime and his arms had sores all over. I wanted to leave but my wife talked me into staying. Food was very average but trying to get a refill of our water glasses was impossible. The waiter sat at a nearby table and played with his mobile phone.
I din't pay the service charge but they didn't notice the amount on the bill and the amount on credit card was different.
Been there many times but, sorry guys, you are on my list of places to avoid now. [02 Feb 2005 00:41:27]

Poor Service at Great World City
I feel sad for the management. There is only one guy dressed in long sleeves, and a women in their company polo t-shirt must be the waitress. Service attitude from the guy who served us was rude!
I vow not to visit this restaurant again, would rather visit the Kenny Rogers' opposite this outlet. [01 Mar 2005 09:40:59]

The server was rude and tols us that the promotion we came for was not available on weekends. When I overheard another server telling another customer that its available, I checked with her again but she insisted that I did not ask for it. I felt very annoyed and even the supervior tried to fix the situation. I was very disappointed - I requested for a comment card when paying. Guess What? the card that she gave me has been used as a Price card. The supervior left the cashier counter wile I was still filling out the comment card. Another bad service in Country Manna
After 5 years of abstaining from eating in Country Manna, last weekend we gave it a shot. However, we were the last customers of the day, and we were still eating our food when they started clearing the whole place, putting the chairs on the tables.
We thought that we should leave earlier and let them clear up faster, so we put the food on one dish and told them we wanted to Take-away.
It turned out after 10 minutess of waiting, when we asked for our food, it was actually thrown into the dustbin!!
