This restaurant offers quite a variety of meat. They taste very delicious too! The waitress and waiter there was quite courteous. They settled our bill very quickly for us.    [01 Mar 2000 06:25:07]

On a scale of 1 through 10, I give it a 5.
The supervisor could have been more tactful and more friendly telling me there's no reservation during the eve of a public holiday.

Suggestion: Why don't they put up a notice stating "No reservation during public holiday and eve of public holiday"? What a big disappointment!    [24 Dec 2001 03:33:34]

Comment on the Outlet at Bugis
The service there was good; however, due to the use of charcoal it was rather troublesome.

The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff on floor are polite. Keep it up!    [05 May 2003 11:26:56]

The service in Bugis Seoul Garden is extremely terrible. I went to eat there on 10 Sep 04 with my friends. We didn't order drinks, as we don't really like soft drinks. After the meal, we were feeling thirsty. I saw there was plain water, so i used my own bottle to fill it up. We did this several times. Just as we went back to our table, a lady (I supposed she's the manager) came and told us that we are not to fill the water there. We said it's just plain water and she said it's included too. We said we will not do it again. after five minutes, she came back with a bill $5.75. We didn't know that PLAIN WATER could cost $5.75. I think it's because we were wearing school uniform at that time. She sound like a teacher scolding her students. But too bad, I think she got it wrong, we are the CUSTOMERS there. She has a really bad attitude and I hope she can change it. If she's unhappy with anything, don't take it out on customers.    [11 Sep 2004 00:18:25]

Drinks too expensive !
Although I find the cost of the food reasonable, I think the cost of the drinks are far too expensive. I am aware that the drinks are freeflow, but I for one don't drink soft drinks, and was told that I have to pay full price even if I have a glass of plain water. I did not have a refill, and the glass was half empty when I was finished. So for a person like me who drinks very little it is alot to pay for a glass of water.    [27 Sep 2004 04:42:38]

A bit on the expensive side.
Honestly i think the service is fine. They don't refill some of the food with enough regularity, but all in all its pretty good. Having to pay 20+ dollars is rather steep, but that's only on weekends. Most buffet restaurants do have increased prices on weekends, so its nothing to complain about.

The food itself tastes great. The sheer variety of meat to grill is incredible. It lives up to its name well. The outlet at Bugis is horribly crowded. The outlet itself it way too small, the tables are way too small, and they still persist in packing tons of people in. Profit maximising I understand, but when you can't even leave your own table to get more food, I should think that would be a step too far.    [07 May 2006 09:41:07]

RESERVATIONS???
It is stated in the net that reservations are accepted but when I called the outlet at Bugis today they said they only do reservations until 6pm.
I later asked if I could sit alone on a table for 12 and wait for the rest of my friends. He said NO that it cannot be done.    [02 Sep 2006 02:29:35]

The Best
Compared to the other Seoul Gardens that we had tried, Bugis is still the best. Their sauce makes us come back there every year. I like that it is very clean, and the vegetables are fresh. However, their staff is not so friendly as they are very busy working, but their cashier is very polite and friendly. The manager must be doing a very good job because my children never want to miss Seoul Garden Bugis everytime we visit Singapore.    [03 Sep 2006 00:19:06]

The service at Bugis is bad. The staffs was rude and unpleasant. When I asked a waitress for tissues, she gave me a rude look and gave me a tissue which was a little dirty. When I complained, she gave me a sterner look. I will never visit that outlet ever again in my life.    [04 Sep 2007 08:40:33]
