poor services from waitresses
The food is really tasteful and delicious. The service from the waitress is very poor except one or two who are friendly. The atmosphere there is quite good. The price is affordable.    [05 Feb 2002 21:22:55]

good steamboat
Food is great. $60 for 2 persons' seafood steamboat is very reasonable. Helpings are generous. Miso stock is a little too salty for my liking. I find the service helpful, went during off-peak timings. ( got one waitress quite chio though! )

recommended jap restaurant for middle range prices    [29 May 2002 09:29:45]

food is excellence, service is really bad
the food is great, sashimi is mavellous. even if you go for the set, the quality of the food is still there - had the saba set. however, there is a long wait if it is full house especially at dinner. even on a thursday night. not sure what the chef is doing behind the screen. Very slow!!!

however, i have one incident where they serve me frozen sashimi, cannot even make out the type of fish -comes as part of a set meal.

no smile on the waitresses face, they are just like robots. even the manageress has no expression on her face. the japanese manager is good though, smile and say hello (maybe he is the boss!!!)    [28 Mar 2004 02:55:14]

There is a roach in my soup.
I am very grossed out about this place. It is not the first time I have visited it. The first 3 times were very pleasant, but as for now, after I found Mr Roach in my soup, I won't want to visit this place again.    [24 Aug 2004 10:34:54]
