Service levels have dropped
Having eaten at Kinara many times over the years, I was most diasappointed on the last visit to the extent that I won't go again. Service was slow, mint sauce didn't arrive with the samosas and pakora - I almost had to go to the kitchen to get it! After an agonising wait for the appetisers, the main dishes arrived about 2 mins later before we had even started on the starters! Paratha was burnt to a cinder and the staff actually tried to convince me that this was how they were done in India. Hello...!    [31 Jan 2003 10:16:26]

I am Sam, I was with Kinara till 1998 as an assistant manager. Sorry to read that the service has dropped, it could be an one off chance. That happens once in a while but can i get my job back. Seriously.

Excellent food
Visited 2 years ago, had an excellent meal, with friendly staff. Visited again a couple of weeks ago (in fact twice in four days) and it was still excellent and the staff as friendly. Just a wee bit too expensive for Singapore, but hey... I was on holiday!    [12 Nov 2007 17:46:14]
