La Scala is famed for both its Italian and International cuisine. The a la carte menu is wide, ranging from fresh fish marinaded in lime juice, seafood platters, clams stuffed with garlic butter and poached in white wine, cream of shellfish soup to a variety of prawn dishes and much more.
The reputation of Gianni’s chateaubriand and various tenderloin dishes is unmatched and a byword in the Seychelles. So too are the superb freshly made pastas. There is a choice of gnocchi, lasagne and fettucine specialities.
The restaurant is particularly noted for the freshness of its fish. Gianni is well known as a keen fisherman and his spare time is spent catching a wide variety of fish. They always find their way into La Scala’s kitchen where Gianni personally prepares and cooks his catch for you.

Great food! A very romantic restaurant serving great food...the fish is fresh and superbly prepared...the service is friendly and courteous...we (my girlfriend and I) had a great time there...must be one of the finest restaurant in Seychelles...one I will most definitely recommend without hesitation.
