Freshly hunted food
Hubertus offers a nice setting, professional service, and good food and wine at a reasonable price. It is known in Cluj-Napoca for its hunter food.

There are two rooms, the main dining room and a sort of courtyard room that's very pleasant for sitting a while and sipping a bottle or two (or three :) of the good Romanian wines, which we did a couple of times. Entertainment when we were there was a rather lame musical trio, but they were very nice about asking us if there were any songs we'd like to hear and then trying to play them!

When we went for dinner, two in the party enjoyed traditional Romanian ciorbas (soups), steaks, and desserts, all well-prepared. Although there is little on the menu for vegetarians, we decided to give it a try. We stopped by when they opened, around noon, and spoke with the owner about making a vegan dish for me. He listened to our requirements, and told us the chef would find it no problem. When we returned for dinner, they had not one but three separate dishes prepared for me, each more delicious than the last. (Spouse stopped me from licking the plate clean. :) Salad was served family style. The owner/waiter was very friendly and solicitious.
