A piece of Belgium in Bucharest They have numerous belgian receipies, most of them involving beer in the cooking: unusual and absolutely delicious, and the quantities served are HUGE. The meat is one of the best I tasted and the fondues (meat or cheese) are really the best way to have fun while eating. The service could be a little better and smile more often, but the "maitre d'hotel' is a very nice guy full of jokes. The decoration is very nice with the walls filled with old funny advertisings from the fifties, and the music is classic jazz and old french songs (Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet). But when the ambiance gets high, you barely hear it, unfortunately. All in all, one of the nicest restaurant in Bucharest to spend a warm evening with your friends. As for the price: not cheap but really reasonable.
