Italian flavor in Bucharest
The place is really good! It brings back the memory all of the good times i had in Italy. What i appreciate the most in Gino's cuisine, is the fresh flavor of all the dishes. They really do the "marinara sauce" (Italian tomato sauce)in house, using fresh basil and real tomatoes(not canned). It's a real thing these days. I love tomato sauce. It goes very well with all pasta types. You must try the "pollo parmegiana" which comes(of course:) with a "spaghetti marinara" side. Delicious!

In my opinion (I've been around the world al ot) it's the most Italian place of Bucharest indeed. Their ossobucco Milanese is a delight! Also a very tasty filetto do Brasil steak. Home made tiramisu like Gino's, I had only in New York's Italian restaurants. Keep up the good work Gino! [14 Feb 2006 13:53:40]
