Description:
A family-run restaurant, with a menu that is made from whatever is available fresh in the markets that morning. One staple on the menu is the Brazilian steak carved tableside, and the cuttlefish is also popular. Centrally located on the main avenue just steps from the bus station and taxi rank.

One of the best restaurants in the entire town for local flavor and ambience. In my opinion the best kept secret in Quarteira. Decor is simple yet interesting with the walls featuring artwork from local artists. There is a menu of staple dishes to satisfy any palate and they typically have a few nightly specials based on what was available in the markets. If you like beef, then you absolutely have to try the Brazilian rump steaks cooked on the spit and carved at your plate (minimum of 2 people). It is served with black beans, rice and manioc seasoning. Couple that with salad and a jar of their house wine and you have a meal that will bring you back for more.    [13 Jul 2007 18:50:03]
