Description:
An unusual concept of Wine Bar/Restaurant. Members dining space on 1st floor, general dining on ground floor. Menu has mix of Portuguese specialities, good steaks and port, limited but unusual fish dishes. Very pleasant airy atmosphere with subtle lighting which is unusual in Portugal. Meal with starters, steak and desert around €45. They specialise in wine, particularly red and have a choice of around 450 different Portuguese ones on offer. English speaking staff with very good knowledge of wine.

Superb food and atmosphere. Staff have incredible knowledge and passion for Portuguese wines and will spend time describing wines to you. Certainly worth a visit when in Batalha.    [17 Feb 2008 03:20:14]
