You call this dinner? This place was recommended to me by a friend who had been there regualarly and really enjoyed it.
We went there as a big group (10 of us) and were escorted to a back room up the stairs that had a bar and a huge television screen. They wouldn't let us change the station on the television screen and despite having a bar, there was no barman to serve us and they seemed to be concentrating on the 8 people they had downstairs and they pretty much forgot about us all night. When it came to desert we had to wait so long for it that the person who ordered it went downstairs to find out what had happened, only to find out they had forgotten us completely. The food was average, and some of the pizzas were burnt. The portion size was okay, but the flavours were bland and the service didn't make up for the average food. Always fantastic We have been going to Club Bazaar regularly for the last 10 years or so and it is still our favourite place to dine.the standard is always excellent and consistent with fab flavours,and we have been there in many different situations,with our children( very child friendly ) and with adult friends - they make their own gluten free pasta which our friend really rated. The atmosphere is relaxed and happy and the pizzas are definitely the best in Christchurch. If anything,there is sometimes a wait if they are busy, but on the odd occasion that has happened,they have gone out of the way to compensate. We will still be going in ten yrs time!
